Our Aim

Our aim is for every child to be happy and healthy, enjoying their early years at our nursery and for parents to have peace of mind that their children are in excellent hands. Children have the chance to enjoy regular dance, drama, music and art activities, which are all inclusive, and help them to become creative, thoughtful, confident and imaginative little people. Learning through the arts is something we believe really enhances the early years experiences of young children and benefits them in years to come.

Partnership

Our parent partnerships are strong. We understand how important your choice of nursery is and we will work closely with you from the beginning of your child's time with us right through until the time they move on to school.

Extra-Curricular

Dance, Music, Sports and Language classes from specialist teachers further enhance these early experiences. We have done the research – children flourish and evolve to become full of character, expression and enthusiasm through the arts. Our way of encouraging these activities to become part of the children’s every day learning and routine is thoroughly enriching and beneficial for the children in our care.

What our parents say

Explore Creative Flair Childcare

All of our activities are planned in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and our staff are knowledgeable and highly trained in all aspects of this.

Music

Qualified teachers visit each age group within the nursery on a weekly basis to deliver music and dance classes. Our babies and children really enjoy these lessons. There are also many benefits to the children’s wellbeing and learning that result from these classes.

Maths & Literature

We give children a positive start to their educational journeys by weaving mathematical and literacy play based activities into their daily experiences at nursery. Whether this is through number songs or reading your child’s favourite book to them ten times a day (!) we will make sure they have fun whilst they learn.

Fitness

Your child’s physical wellbeing is a big priority to us. We invite specialist teachers into nursery to give our children tuition in sports such as football. We also ensure they have daily opportunities for optimal physical development and fitness through exercise with outdoor play equipment (bikes, balls etc), in yoga sessions and through lots of outdoor free play with our practitioners and with their friends.

Languages

We have weekly language classes at our nurseries. These are taught by experienced and qualified language teachers through fun and age-appropriate lessons. Baby’s and Children’s brains are developing at a rapid rate from 0-5 years old and we believe that giving them opportunities such as language lessons supports optimal brain development.

Nutrition

Children enjoy lots of tasty food here. We have freshly cooked food delivered to us on a daily basis. Breakfast is served in the morning and there are healthy snacks and drinks throughout the day. Both lunch and tea have two courses. We also include foods to help celebrate different festivals and events from around the world as they come up throughout the year. We can cater for all dietary requirements and special requests.

Our outdoor area

We have a fantastic, large outdoor garden at our Kenilworth Nursery. Our babies and children spend plenty of time outside enjoying all of our play equipment. We have a music wall, a mud kitchen, a creative sensory garden and an allotment area. We strive to make our garden an engaging space where babies and children can enjoy many happy hours of play whilst learning and developing

Interesting Outdoor Area

We also have another interesting outdoor area, our ‘Adventure Area’ where the children will be able to build dens, play balancing games and enjoy playing hide and seek. We sometimes have a tent up in this area and this section of the garden really has a feel of being in the big outdoors – perfect for the children to explore.

About Our Rooms

Care and nurture from qualified and highly experienced Practitioners. Each our or babies has a key worker who will learn everything about your unique baby, build a strong relationship with them and be focused on their happiness & wellbeing at all times.

Our Baby Room

(0-2 years) for our youngest children with a separate sleep area
We have a range of different sensory and heuristic resources for the children
We have messy play out every day for our babies

Our Toddler Room

We place a huge emphasis on speech and language skills. We talk and (crucially) listen to our toddlers throughout the day in this room because best practice tells us that this is vital for their speech development.
Book corner and lots of role play resources and activities so that the children really widen their experiences and knowledge at nursery

Our Pre-school Loft

In their time in this room, we work with our children to ensure they have the range of skills and personal attributes they will need to have a successful and smooth transition to school. We want their Pre-School days to be happy, engaging, fulfilling and we want children’s time with us to lead to them being confident learners. Research into best practice in the Early Years informs our approach. This research tells us that children still need play based learning at this age but they also need skilful adult led interactions and they need to be provided with plenty of learning opportunities.

Best possible start in life

We ensure each child leaves us with the skills they will need to go on and do their very best at school and beyond.
