Our Coventry Nursery

In June 2018 we took over an existing nursery in Coventry and have made it our second nursery at Creative Flair Childcare. Our Coventry nursery really does meet the needs of the babies and young children in our care. We have well – equipped and bright rooms full of cosy corners for reading and relaxing, as well as lots of resources to encourage creative and imaginative learning. We have a lovely nursery garden with different areas offering many activities for the children as well as a separate area for the babies. We have weekly football sessions for our Over 2s run by a qualified and experienced football coach. This is something that the children really look forward to each week and ensures the children have lots of energetic time outside.

All of our activities are planned in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and our staff are knowledgeable and highly trained in all aspects of this.

The children enjoy lots of varying dance and music activities and sessions and Jennifer’s mum sometimes comes in to visit with her guitar for a sing along too. The children get involved with many cultural celebrations that happen throughout the year as well as themed activities to coincide with world events both near and far. Qualified and experienced teachers from Creative Flair come in and teach Baby Music with the Under 2s and Dance and Music with the Over 2s. The children really look forward to these sessions. Jennifer and the team also produce Summer and Christmas Music and Dance concerts that are brilliant performance opportunities for the children. We don’t charge anything extra for these extra activities and performances, we provide these as part of our usual service for the children.

Our aim is for every child to be happy and healthy, enjoying their early years at our nursery and for parents to have peace of mind that their children are in excellent hands. Children have the chance to enjoy regular dance, drama, music and art activities, which are all inclusive, and help them to become creative, thoughtful, confident and imaginative little people. Learning through the arts is something we believe really enhances the early years experiences of young children and benefits them in years to come.

Nursery Rooms

We have a dedicated Baby Room for our under 2s children. We have a range of different sensory and heuristic  resources for the children to engage with as well as caring and enthusiastic staff who really support our children. We have messy play out every day for our babies and also sparkly material, bells, lights and mirrors for them to explore.

We have a separate Tots Room for our 2 year olds. This area is bright and has many different books and resources so that the children can explore and enjoy playing as well as learning as they go. There is a book corner and lots of role play resources and activities so that the children really widen their experiences and knowledge at nursery.

Our Pre School Loft is where lots of learning through play happens in preparation for school. Activities such as cooking, water and sand play, mark making/writing activities and number games happen in this area and the staff are experienced in supporting the children to develop and become confident little people through their experiences at nursery.

The children enjoy lots of tasty meals at nursery. We have freshly cooked food delivered in to us on a daily basis and are able to cater for any dietary needs or requirements. Breakfast is served as children come in during the early morning session and the children enjoy healthy snacks during the day as well as a two course lunch and a light tea before home time. Water and milk are provided to go with meals and are available at all times.

Go Outdoors

Our garden is safe and fully enclosed. The children can enjoy sand and water outside every day as well as lots of digging in our mud area. The children often come in after outside play slightly muddier than before … but they have had a fantastic time! There are many bikes and trikes outside as well as balls, hoops and games. The separate baby garden is quieter and keeps our youngest children safe from the hustle and bustle. We go out in all weathers as all types and experiences of outdoor play are positive for the children in our care.
